Final Spaces For PeerSpace2: October 2021

Please get in touch with us if you are interested in joining our next PeerSpace group.

We'll be covering the good stuff:

  • Internalised stigma: a manifestation of systemic prejudice

  • The lived experience=incompetence assumption

  • Us & Them splits in the mental health field

  • Limitations of the 'wellbeing' agenda

  • Weaponising of Fitness to Practice

  • Sharing choices

  • Intersectionality

Our first PeerSpace has been a revelation of connection and experiences, creating a space dedicated to activism around provider mental health stigma in the mental health professions. We can hold this work to challenge the status quo effectively as a separate centre, whilst also mindfully and importantly engaging with the institutions around us. We have lived experience embedded and overtly valued at Board level. This will never change.

PeerSpace2 will run for eight meetings, once a month on a Monday from 11am - 12.30, starting on 4th October 2021.

See the flyer for more information, or get in touch with us.
